Have you ever felt Newgrounds never really emphasized enough what the review space was for? I feel that it's basically turned into the Youtube comment box.

Reviews should include specifics about what you liked and what you didn't. As such you can't (well... shouldn't) just put no stars and say "I don't like this" or "This sucked" or "That was bad." Nor should someone put a 3 star rating and say "I liked it" because clearly there was something you didn't like about it and you're just giving an unfair score without giving anything for the author to work on. 4.5 or 5 star ratings should be including certain points of the flash you enjoyed.

This isn't something for those who want to be a "pro critic" on NG. These are the basics for anyone who is going to use the review space. The site redesign changed a small detail about the review space. There's no longer a box to put a summary line. The summary line, for me, really set the Newgrounds review space apart from any other comment box.
I believe at this point the review space is now basically a summary line for people who don't know the meaning of constructive criticism to spit something on.

I was like that as well before I saw how much work other people put into their reviews while others just slapped something on without giving any real attention to the flash. Personally, I would feel a character minimum would help clean up the crappy reviews I see. I don't expect this to change anything. I just wanted to let out some of my frustrations.
